Terms of service
Last updated: August 22, 2026
1. Overview and acceptance
These Terms of Service govern your use of the SMGlobal Catwalk® website, applications, events, programs, services, memberships, experiences, merchandise, digital products, and related offerings. By accessing the website or purchasing, applying for, registering for, or participating in an offering, you agree to these Terms and any additional terms disclosed before purchase or participation. If you do not agree, do not use the applicable service.
2. Website use
You may use this website only for lawful purposes. You must not misuse the site, interfere with its security or operation, submit false or misleading information, impersonate another person, infringe intellectual property or privacy rights, or attempt unauthorized access. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect the website, our community, or our rights.
3. Applications and inquiries
Model casting, designer, press, sponsorship, Academy, Membership, and Experiences applications or inquiries are reviewed individually. Submission does not guarantee acceptance, participation, casting, credentials, sponsorship, membership, enrollment, access, invitation, admission, or any commercial relationship. We may request additional information, decline an application, or close an opportunity at our discretion, subject to applicable law.
4. Model casting
Applicants must provide accurate, current information and materials and must have authority to submit them. Casting decisions may consider event requirements, age, measurements, experience, availability, location, professional conduct, and other production needs. A parent or legal guardian must provide any consent required for a minor. Selection for one opportunity does not guarantee future work or representation.
5. Designer participation
Designer participation is subject to written confirmation, availability, show-specific requirements, and payment terms. Designer participation deposits are non-refundable. Final payment must be received no later than 30 days before the applicable show. If final payment is not received by the deadline, the participation reservation may be forfeited and the deposit will not be refunded. Additional show-specific deliverables, deadlines, and terms disclosed before payment also apply.
6. Press accreditation and sponsorship
Press credentials are limited, reviewed per event, and may be subject to outlet, assignment, professional-conduct, access, and content requirements. Accreditation is not guaranteed. Sponsorship inquiries do not create an agreement; sponsorship rights, benefits, fees, deliverables, exclusivity, and approvals become binding only through a separate written agreement.
7. Event tickets and programming
All event-ticket sales are final and non-refundable except where required by applicable law or expressly stated otherwise in writing for a specific event. Tickets purchased through Eventbrite or another authorized platform are also subject to that platform’s terms. Event dates, times, venues, programming, speakers, designers, talent, seating, and schedules may change. Where applicable, event-specific terms govern.
8. Academy and educational programs
Academy classes, workshops, live or digital courses, and other educational offerings may have program-specific eligibility, attendance, conduct, technology, cancellation, refund, and completion terms disclosed before purchase. Enrollment does not guarantee employment, representation, casting, or a particular professional outcome.
9. Memberships
Membership benefits, availability, eligibility, duration, renewal, pricing, and cancellation terms may vary by membership level and will be disclosed before enrollment or purchase. Membership does not guarantee event admission, credentials, complimentary access, casting, or participation unless expressly stated.
10. Experiences
Experiences may involve third-party travel, hotel, transportation, venue, wellness, hospitality, or other providers. Experience deposits, reservations, and third-party costs may be subject to specific cancellation terms and may be non-refundable where disclosed before purchase. You are responsible for passports, visas, insurance, health requirements, and timely travel arrangements unless expressly included in writing.
11. Merchandise
Product descriptions, availability, pricing, and estimated fulfillment times are subject to change. Made-to-order merchandise may be final sale and non-refundable except where required by applicable law. If an item arrives damaged, defective, misprinted, or materially different from the confirmed order, contact us promptly with the order number and clear photographs so an appropriate remedy can be evaluated. Items that have been worn, used, altered, or damaged after delivery are not eligible for a remedy except where required by law.
12. Digital products
Digital products are non-refundable once purchased, accessed, downloaded, or delivered, except where required by applicable law. You receive only the limited personal or business-use license expressly described with the product; ownership and all other rights remain with the applicable rights holder.
13. Payments
Prices, deposits, installments, taxes, fees, and payment deadlines are stated at checkout or in the applicable written proposal. You authorize the selected payment provider to process the transaction. We may suspend or cancel an unpaid reservation or service subject to the applicable offering terms. Individual events, programs, memberships, experiences, or products may contain additional terms disclosed before purchase.
14. Intellectual property
The SMGlobal Catwalk® name, trademarks, logos, website, text, graphics, photographs, video, designs, publications, program materials, and other content are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by applicable law. No rights are granted except the limited right to use the website and purchased materials as expressly permitted. You may not copy, distribute, modify, sell, publish, or commercially exploit protected content without prior written permission.
15. Submitted materials
You retain ownership of materials you submit, but represent that you have all necessary rights and permissions. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to review, store, reproduce, and share submitted materials internally or with production partners solely as reasonably necessary to evaluate and administer your application, inquiry, participation, or service. Any broader promotional use will be governed by a separate release, agreement, or applicable event terms.
16. Third-party services and links
The website may link to Eventbrite, payment processors, social platforms, travel providers, and other third parties. Their services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for third-party content, availability, acts, omissions, or policies except as required by law.
17. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website and services are provided on an “as available” basis without warranties not expressly stated in writing. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, acceptance, commercial results, media coverage, career outcomes, attendance levels, or third-party performance. To the fullest extent permitted by law, SMGlobal Catwalk and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
18. Changes and severability
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version and date. Changes apply prospectively unless applicable law requires otherwise. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
