AVA HOLLY LEWIS – Vendor Relations Manager (NEW YORK)
Born in Brooklyn, New York, Ava Holly fell in love with the “Arts” at an early age.
From years of piano and voice lessons, Ava found herself with many awards as a student from Art, to voice to music. As President of the Drama Club in High School and being the very first “Senior of the month” in a new program, she was on her way to great things. Ava earned a 4 year fine Arts Scholarship to Penn State. After that she continued studies in Theatre back in her home state of NY at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and Herbert Berghoff studios.
Soaking up all forms of the “Arts”, Ava opened her own mobile disc jockey business while doing a small radio gig. Studying speech pathology enabled her to hone her voice-over skills and to this day loves doing voice-over work. While running a successful DJ Business for 11 years, Ava got involved in a major network marketing company. It was there that she fell in love with direct sales and wound up running a successful home-based business with network marketing for 17 years. Ava ran her father’s businesses for quite some time doing all types of business oriented tasks including hiring, buying, merchandising, fashion and learning the retail / wholesale industry.
Eventually, Ava took writing classes, management classes and all that she could think of to better her skills as a business person. She got involved with several Networking groups and found that she had been doing just that all along . She loves working with people. Ava got involved in the Casino Industry in 1991 learning many aspects of that life-style.
From back of the house to retail she spent 25 years in the industry, many of those years on the Casino floor .
During that time she enhanced the skills she needed to put her own things into place.
In late 2008, Ava launched 4 A STAR and combined all of her management, networking and “Arts” experience into a one stop shopping entertainment/events and promotions company. Here she handles, models, musicians, authors, artists- anything to do with the “Arts”.The company also does events, wedding planning and proposal planning. Ava is an author, poet and creative artist in her own right.
A line of purses and accessories, with a unique twist has been in the works for several years and is launching on line this year. Ava Loves Swimming, writing, walking , singing and enjoys being on the “inside” of things….
Ava spent some years as a swim instructor and lifeguard. She has put that aside to focus on the meat and potatoes of her business…She has grown a blog of over 60,000 viewers and has her own on line TV show monthly.
Ava likes to learn about natural healing and the power of our minds to heal us. In early 2009 Ava lost her Mom to Brain Caner and shortly after that started a foundation for Brain Cancer Research where she works with the National Brain Tumor Society. She has a bill in the Senate office to make her Mom’s Birthday, May 20th, a day to recognize certain charities .
Ava feels that everything we do in our lives is a stepping stone from a higher power to put you exactly where you need to be at exactly the right time. She is learning to utilize the power of our minds to take us to greater heights than we could ever imagine.
